Jake Stumph is a lifelong car enthusiast and racer, and former content editor for Internet Brands Automotive which he joined in 2015. His work has been featured by several other prominent automotive outlets, including Jalopnik and Autobytel.
He obtained a bachelor's degree in Political Science at the Ohio State University in 2013, then pivoted from covering politics and policy to writing about his automotive adventures, something that, he says, is a lot more fun. Since that time, he has established connections with most of the world's major automakers, as well as other key brands in the automotive industry.
He enjoys track days, drifting, and autocross, at least, when his cars are running right, which is uncommon.

Let’s look back to the 1990’s, with the dulcet tones of John Davis and Motor Week, our delightfully retro guilty indulgence. The year was 1994: General Motors was selling the (pre-facelift) fourth generation Chevrolet Camaro, with it’s rakish profile and LT1 V8. Ford had just come out with the new SN95 Mustang, featuring smoother, softer […] More »
The return of the Grand Sport badge to the Corvette line up is one worth celebrating. The C6 G/S was a dedicated Z06 clone, sans LS7, with uprated suspension, fatter rubber and sharper styling. The C7 Grand Sport returns, maintaining the same philosophy of it’s forebear: packing the same 460 horsepower LT1 V8 engine as […] More »
