C7 Decal Imprint Hints at Celebrity Ownership
Already packed full of muscle, this ghost graphic discovered by a Reddit user may hint at previous celebrity ownership.
It’s almost too bad that CarFax reports don’t include the names of previous owners, because Reddit user R3dF41c0n posted in an r/Corvette thread asking about a graphic imprint that showed up during a wash. The post read, “A month ago I bought a used C7. Today I see that it used to have decals. For the love of God someone tell me how to remove this imprint on the glass.”
The graphic in question reads, “Rich Piana 5%,” which commentors were quick to say that the company logo belonged to a famous bodybuilding influencer, Rich Piana. Piana was no small name in his community, clocking in nearly 1 million followers on his Instagram, and winning several bodybuilding competitions. Part of what made his success so controversial was his open use of steroids — which he swore were essential to win. Despite this, he started his own nutritional foods line, called “5% Nutrition,” which was a popular supplements brand.
Following the destiny behind his first name, Piana also had a taste for expensive, exotic cars. Of which, almost always featured decals for his brand. This lead the commenters on the post wondering if this C7 once belonged to Rich Piana. Especially since the C7 posted was a 2016 model, and Piana sadly passed in 2017 — leaving people wondering if this Vette was the last car owned by Piana.

As shown by Piana’s Instagram post above, all of his vehicles features a decal identical to the one on the C7. Though, the smart ones know that it doesn’t necessarily rule out the possibility that a fan of Piana’s or his nutritional brand could have put that on their personal vehicle, too. Either way, the idea that the vehicle could have been owned by a popular bodybuilder is still pretty cool.
