This week’s Throwback video takes us back to 1989 where we get to enjoy a Chevrolet Camaro commercial that puts an obvious focus on high performance.

The current Chevrolet lineup is as sporty and as aggressive as it has even been, from the electric Volt and the hybrid Malibu to the big, plush Impala and the high performance Camaro and Corvette.

When it comes down to it, the Camaro is just an amazing car. Every generation was great in its own way, as we’re sure the new version will also be.

This week’s Burnout video features a 3rd gen Chevrolet Camaro somewhere overseas, although I don’t recognize the license plates to know exactly where this took place.

It may be surprising, but the two vehicles are actually very similar. The 928s has a top speed of 145 miles per hour, whereas the Z28 has a top speed of about 135 miles per hour. Both are rear-wheel-drive, 2+2 configuration, and have a large glass hatch.

Chevrolet asked five of the people responsible for styling within GM who own (or have owned) Camaros to give their opinions on what made each of the five generations of the Mustang-fighter distinctive and attractive.

When it comes to the number one love in life, for many people the answer is fast cars. Well, fast anything really.
