Being a full time student can make it very difficult to maintain and modify a ride. Even so, college students somehow always seem to pull through and make some very spectacular and amazing beasts between their studying, tests, and social lives.

This week’s Drag Race video features a 4th generation Chevrolet Camaro SS powered by an LSX 6.0L engine.

This week’s Dyno Blast video features a 1990 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 packing an obviously modified LS1 engine.

Third generation Chevrolet Camaros were hindered by budding emission laws and because of that, the cars from that era don’t get the same level of respect as the Camaro models that came before and after.

This week’s Dyno Blast video is literally just that – a dyno blast – by a 3rd generation Chevrolet Camaro. In many cases, the average 3rd gen Camaro on a dyno won’t inspire a whole lot of excitement, but this is not your average 3rd gen Camaro.

This video consists of several interesting things: A 1988 IROC-Z Camaro, a few solid burnouts, fun-loving donuts, and a suspicious blue van.

The 1980s were all about big hair, gaudy fashion and rock ballads so when the “Heartbeat of America” advertising campaign was introduced in the mid-1980s, the Chevrolet Camaro was the ideal car to market under that angle.
