Watch a LS6 Powered 280Z Make Tasty Donuts
The Nissan/Datsun Z cars have been popular since… well, since forever. Affordable, reliable, and powerful with the inline six under the hood, what more could one wish for?
Well, this guy had an idea: Throw an LS6 in a 1975 280z and rule the streets (and the strip). This Datsun has many modifications and ran 11.3 second quarter mile at 123 miles per hour at the drag strip.
We don’t know the horsepower on this beast, but just hearing it rumble down the street is probably enough to scare all the amateurs away from challenging it.
In this video, the high-powered, roaring Datsun does a few burnouts and then spins a few solid donuts. They seem to be having fun from behind the wheel, and who could blame them?
However, they quickly act very natural as another car cruises by for just a moment. The lull doesn’t last long and soon the Datsun is spinning and roaring again.
