The Monte Carlo really isn’t given the appreciation that it deserves. Sure, some people love them and work on them endlessly to make them into insane street machines (such as the ride in this video), but most people really just seems that as another boxy boat car and don’t take them very seriously. Of course, that would be a mistake if one was ever faced with a race with the beastly Monte Carlo in this clip!
This ride is a Monte Carlo that is powered by a Magnacharged LS1, and it’s sick to watch. You might be wonderful how much horsepower this monster puts out, and maybe your guess will be right — this Monte Carlo puts out 500 horsepower, and it sounds like a demon! The amount of tire smoke and the roar of the engine alone is enough to make this video worth watching. Who wouldn’t want to see a high-powered LS1 Monte Carlo tear up some old tires?
