There’s “professional grade,” and then there’s this custom 2020 GMC Sierra. Converted to rock a short bed in the back, the Sierra packs a 5.3-liter V8 under the hood, and rides upon custom forged wheels. It’s also a star on the scene, having been in LSX Magazine, GM Authority, and was the featured truck for SEMA 360.
Here’s another custom LS-powered truck, this time a ’68 Chevy C10 with an LS3 and 4L60E to move the 19- and 20-inch wheels. And like the previous entry, this C10 has a few accolades on its resume, including Goodguys Truck of the Year finalist, and 2019 C10 Nationals Truck of the Year. The redline tires are a nice touch on this red-and-tan pickup.
Finally, this final-year C1-era Corvette leaves the 327 behind for an LS3 with 525 ponies going through the 4L70E automatic. The silver paint and red interior are immaculate, especially with the latter’s handmade leather dash. Who said an old dog couldn’t learn new tricks?
Cameron Aubernon's path to automotive journalism began in the early New '10s. Back then, a friend of hers thought she was an independent fashion blogger.
Aubernon wasn't, so she became one, covering fashion in her own way for the next few years.
From there, she's written for: Louisville.com/Louisville Magazine, Insider Louisville, The Voice-Tribune/The Voice, TOPS Louisville, Jeffersontown Magazine, Dispatches Europe, The Truth About Cars, Automotive News, Yahoo Autos, RideApart, Hagerty, and Street Trucks.
Aubernon also served as the editor-in-chief of a short-lived online society publication in Louisville, Kentucky, interned at the city's NPR affiliate, WFPL-FM, and was the de facto publicist-in-residence for a communal art space near the University of Louisville.
