Pennzoil Presents Dyno of the Week:   Destroked, Big Bore 800hp Sleeper Camaro

Now this is an interesting combo. Forum member Jackson has been building up the engine for his ’98 Camaro in a sort of unconventional way. He’s got a 6-liter block, but he’s running a 4.9-liter destroked cam shaft. The heads are from an LS3 and have been ported himself. At 16 psi and E85, he’s made 992 horsepower, but he’s been tuning it down with every consecutive dyno. The car is going to be one heck of a sleeper.
