RIDE ON! A 1971 Camaro RS Z28 in the Garage

To some people the home is the most important thing they own. After all, much of one’s time is spend on the couch watching television, sleeping in the bedroom, or playing with a pet.

However, whenever it comes to all of the car enthusiasts out there, priorities can chance. LS1Tech member Marktainium is an example of one of these people.

He spent two years looking for the perfect project car to take on, and when he’s found it he finally began to search for a home with a garage so he could have somewhere to put it.

The vehicle he went with was a 1971 Camaro RS Z28. He’s been working on it for some time now, and it has definitely been enjoyable. He dropped a 6.0L LS2 under the hood, and boy does the ride sound nice!

Despite a sad episode where he blew the transmission, things have moved forward and the Camaro is truly a masterpiece. With the new transmission in, he even took it for some enjoyable autocrossing fun!

There is no denying that this car is truly amazing. The second generation Camaros don’t always receive the attention they deserve, but they are certainly true muscle cars with awesome performance and unique looks!
