Roll Racing Down South in a Modified CTS-V

By -

Watch from inside this heavily modified CTS-V as it goes roll racing on the highway with a group of equally heavy hitters.

After a long break, Mexico Racing League is back with some new videos. They’ve been out catching the action on what looks suspiciously like the Gulf Freeway in Texas. This video is 6 minutes of wheeled beasts roll racing, all caught from the passenger seat of the CTS-V.

Roll Racing CTS-V in Texas

The CTS-V we are riding along with has a ported blower and runs on E85 and nitrous. More than enough to keep up with most things you’ll come across on a quiet highway late at night. The cars it’s running with though, they aren’t most cars. But on the count of 3, it erupts as if pushing the accelerator pedal popped the lid on a bottle of Diet Coke spiked with Mentos.

On this night it’s both racing and filming some powerful cars. There’s a Nitrous powered SS, a Procharged C7 Corvette, a turbo charged Camaro, a stock Viper ACR, a stock GTR, and the list goes on from there.

So strap in and safely enjoy the mayhem without the possibility of spending a night in jail.

His obsession with cars started young and has left him stranded miles off-road in Land Rovers, being lost far from home in hot hatches, going sideways in rallycross cars, being propelled forward in supercars and, more sensibly, standing in fields staring at classic cars. His first job was as a mechanic and then trained as a driving instructor before going into media production.

The automotive itch never left though, and he realized writing about cars is his true calling. However, that doesn’t stop him from also hosting the Both Hand Drive podcast.
