While nearly all of the rides we see here on LS1Tech fall within the realm of GM rides, it is rather uncommon that a Cadillac shows up in the limelight.

Alright everyone, prepare to have your palms get sweaty, and your wallets begin to cry, because after I show you this next CTS-V, you’re definitely going to go out and get this ridiculously awesome package for your car.

If you’re reading this story and thinking, “this car isn’t even out yet, how could Hennessey have an upgrade already,” you and I are on the same page.

This video shows a guy having a good time spinning some wide — and fine — donuts in his CTS-V. The tires squealing is always a sure sign of fun, and the tire smoke is another.

Right now, Cadillac is on sort of a roll with performance cars. Between the ATS-V and the brand new CTS-V, it’s all about the horsepower right now.

This week’s Throwback video doesn’t go back all that far, but with this week’s Detroit debut of the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V super sedan, I thought that taking a look at a previous generation CTS-V would be a fitting feature.

It was a great day when GM released the official photos of its upcoming 2016 Cadillac CTS-V sedan late last year. However, nothing beats the real thing. There’s just no substitute for seeing an eagerly awaited car in person.
