New Sticky Rubber And Some Engine Upgrades To This Jeep Help To Wind Down That ET

If you’re familiar with Roadkill and some of their builds, it’s easy to think this Jeep emerged from their garages. This Jeep was inspired by that show, and uses LM7 power. Originally just built to be a rat rod, the addiction to power soon became part of the build.

Two S366 Borg Warner turbos push 10psi of boost on the stock internals, with 661 horsepower reaching the back wheels. Torque is impressive at 805, and runs through a TH400 automatic transmission. Mickey Thompson drag radials rounds up what should be a competent 1/4 mile runner.

Consistency with this Jeep still needs to be nailed down, with runs having a half second range. Most were in the very low 10’s, but a 10.49 snuck in there as well. Contrast those times with its fastest run at 9.94 @ 134 miles per hour.

Either way, we like the idea of a nearly stock LM7 having some boost thrown at it, and we also like that the owner regularly uses this car on the street. This Jeep certainly isn’t a trailer queen, and we cant wait to see what it can do when the wick is turned up on those Borg Warner’s.
