I posted this over in the Nitrous section but im not sure how many of you guys venture over there. So I figured I would share it here also since I did run it to the 10's. LOL Here is the post and videos.
Well I finally got out to San Antonio Raceway to test out the new two step before I leave to head overseas next week and I dont even know where to begin!
First pass:
Didnt get a good burnout and the launch was really messed up. But it was the first time using the two step so I was a little nervous. I ran a 10.6 @ 133. Got to the end of the track and expected some guy to tell me to back it down. But nope... just a girl handing out time slips smiled and handed me my slip.
Got to the pits and took the bottle out to warm it back up (got a bottle heater just never got around to installing it). Some guy come up to the car looking into the windows. I asked whats up and he told me to tell the owner of the car that if I make another pass like that then I will be kicked off the premises.
To make a long story short... I made a few 1/8 pulls to get the launch down. When everyone decided it was time to go I made one more pass and here is the results!!!
For those who are concerned with the backfiring: The two step I use is a Lingenfelter LNC003. It has the lower rpm limiter (to launch) and an upper rpm limiter (to shift) which disables ignition not fuel (obvisously). I launch at 4500 and shift at 7000. When I hit the clutch to shift I never come off the gas. So raw fuel builds in the exhaust and when the shift is over and the ignition comes back... BOOM! It didnt hurt the plugs and I dont run Cats so nothing was damaged.
1/8 pull. 1.49 sixty @ 105 mph.

1/4 pull. 1.46 sixty @ 135.95

i just stuck the lnc-003 in my datsun and by just guessing i set the launch to 4500 as well, it seems that it worked well for you as well. I dont have a clutch switch yet so i just set the upper limit at 6300 since i shift at 6200.
