The passenger seat coming out was quite tempting. lol

She'll run a 9 as she sits in a little cooler weather.

Thanks. One of these days I'll change the shocks on the car and remove a couple pounds by taking the a/c out. Maybe I can pull the tire a couple inches off the ground then. Not looking for a bumper draggin wheelie, but carrying a couple inches would be ok.

I am thinking of going with this cam. Is yours a stock LS6 oil pump or the ported ones that TSP sells? Which single roller timing chain...was wondering if I should just use a LS2 timing chain.

It is honestly a badass cam that can easily be tamed with a good tuner. I have installed a couple of these locally and they all make very good power and run/drive well. I will actually be picking one of these cams for my 2003 Z06 here shortly.

yeah my tuner has used several in full street cars that have performed very well, after seeing how it did in those cars I had to have one not to mention guys on here having great results with it.

I'm using the Melling oil pump and Cloyes hex-adjust single timing chain.

Thanks. It's quicker than I thought it would be. Still SBE. I have the shift light at 6650. By the time I see it and react it's at least 6750 when I shift.

Good to know I started to look away from this cam because I was under the impression it needed to be spun to 7k+ to run well.

I think there are a lot of people out there that had the same misconception you did about this cam but it actually has a usable power band and works well on the street for being as large as it is.

Yea I'm glad because now I can buy this cam as it's originally what I wanted. What heads are people running with this cam? Tooley told me to leave my 243s stock.
