2001 SOM WS6 cheap $7000 low miles. SOLD........
Guys i am giving it up. My 2001 56k mile 2 owner WS6 trans am. Its a m6 car and needs tlc. Here is the story. I bought from my friend who bought it new. He took car of it as n changing oil and other regular maintenance. He was just a young guy who thought there was only 1 speed and that was wide open. There are people who say their car is never opened up or raced or rough on their stuff. He was not that guy. He didnt race it regularly but never backed down from a green light bandit. Its still a nice car. LOADED with m6 black leather and the beautiful Sunset orange metallic paint factory. No Need to run a car fax because it has been in a couple accidents one with a deer and other with a ditch both minor but had a driver quarter put on. I recently had a run in with 2 Deer in my area and there is Minor Damage to the driver quarter, front bumper cover and fender but the car NEEDS NO PARTS. I own a body shop and can fix it for a fee but looks good still and i drive it everyday. Gets better gas mileage than my nissan altima. I do have pics also. Very strong runner but only problem is the clutch pedal stays on floor when wide open shifts into the upper gears. I read there is a fix called the Drill mod but i think it needs new hydraulics. Clutch still holds very well with no slippage. Rear pinion seal leaks a little but a very easy fix. Price is $7000 firm. I encourage to see in person. Car has recent tune up and brakes and 4 new tires.
This is still a very sharp car and dependable ride. Been to florida twice in last 3 months. Hate to sell but i am working on a supercharged 70 LSX trans am. good title, not SALVAGE!
One more thing, my phone is 606-615-6801. I own a body shop and restoration shop. I do Not have a computer there so call me and i will post pics tomorrow for you. Please ask all questions you like. Nothing to hide.

How about some more info and pics? How many miles, tire condition, glass condition? Any noises from tranny, rearend, or engine? Any interior rips or stains? Is it a smoker's car? Is there a loan/lien against the car? Are the power windows slow?.....headlight motors grinding?

Um i just bought 2 headlights from ebay that are very good. Deer wiped out the others. A tear on driver seat about 2 inches in the bolster. TRans sounds good with no grinding, but not tightest in the world either. There are rattles, squeeks, stuff like that. Glass is beautiful, no scratches. Car can be easily restored. I live in ashland ky and he did drive it year round even in the winter. It was his toy. aCtually his wife brought it home one day. It is dirty under car and i did replace trans mount. This past winter we got it out and while it was cold the door panels cracked at the top, not that noticable. The monsoon CD player skips badly but they are on ebay. Guys this is a $7000 car not your average $15k f-body but a steal nonetheless. Come and look at car ad i will post pics tomorrow for you, Thanks MIKE. Miles are 56k and fairly clean car. Non-smoker, no burns. CLEAR TITLE! NEW TIRES! NEW BRAKES! Look guys i am not very good at ads so ask away. Can i post pics on here?

Update!!! Ok guys, a good guy from here checked the car on Autochek and it came up odometer descreption. Looks like there is a problem with the miles. HOWEVER, The dealership is gonna replace the catalytic converters under warranty, so go figure. Looks like the last mileage checkup was at 90XXX miles But the dealer says the last mileage check was 44,000 a year or so ago. Dont know what the hell happened but i will be selling the car with not original mileage. I know this car personally. ODOMETER WARNING GUYS!!! Also looks like the car went to several states but kept the original owner.
Just want to be honest here. You are buying a car according to Autochek that might have 500,000 miles. I dont think that is the case because it is a Federal crime to screw with odometers so. Just dont understand how the dealer will replace stuff under warranty but i wont argue with them. you can meet the original owner when you test drive car and check his ID to ease your mind. BUT, anyway its still fairly cheap for a six speed car. I mean he drove the car but he didnt drive it that much. He was just hard on it. Anyway here are the pics, And just for the odometer problem $6000 TAKES IT!

Sorry guys again. I asked the dealer to elaborate and they told me they would not put on over $1000 in converters if the they felt the mileage was screwed with. Oh well, Who ever gets car will have 2 brand new cats on it. I also have the headlight bucket lids.
I also will sell without the drivetrain for those who want a drag car. I will keep the 500k mile, lol, drivetrain for my 69 camaro project.
Mods are flowmaster muffler, PRO 5.0 shifter, factory hurst shifter, K&N filter.

just for the record everything works. AC is ice cold no funny noises. REduced to $6000 firm so no offers from here. Even with the glitch this is dirt cheap! I drive this car everyday. And you are very welcome for a test ride.

This car has my seats also. Same year. And yes the car is rough around the edges but not that bad. Granted it may not be show quality like yours but the only problem interior wise is the seat bolster. Not trying to scam anybody here and i really dont have to sell the car that bad. And no matter what i think a 2001 SOM SIX SPEED trans am for $6000 is not a bad deal.
