These guys really put out a great product. I have one of their 5500 RPM Stall converters in my daily driver and people just cant believe it when they ride in the car. My tranny runs at under 180* under normal driving and even on extended trips (40+ minutes at 3500 RPM on the highway). Excellent customer service. I have cut consistant 1.3x's 60's and even a 1.41 on the rear tire w/ my MT DR's.

All of our performance 4l80-e converters come with a baloon plate on the hub.If you are making over 650 we recomend plates.We would rather build one to strong than one not strong enough. We build Tons of full race converters and not just street converters.1-866-726-8358

I'm running a Vig 3200 5 disc lockup in a 3500lb(race weight with driver) stall.
The car dyno's 900 rwhp with the converter locked and around 850 unlocked. If I lock the convertor going down the track it will spit out the tranny-so my question is can you make a converter like this but more effecient?
I don't know aout STR-but I know along time ago I had a Vig3200-it apparantley had a STR of 2.5-it would just blow off the tires on launch. Mike S @ Yank hooked me up with a 3600 SY but it had a STR of 1.6-it 60 footed better and picked 2 mph on the top end.
Does this STR make any sense to you guys?

converter. Sorry so long to reply but but took the family out of state for the holidays.Yes the str makes sense to me. A lot of times the lower str will out 60 a car with higher str due to the fact of traction issues. Pm or give me a call toll free at 1-866-726-8358.My name is Greg.I can explain how all of his works.
