How possible is it for bolt on LS1s to hit mid 12s?
I always see them doing it easily. I'm being told that most/almost all bolt on LS1s will only run high 12s. It's ridiculous.
If you've run 12.5 or better with only bolt ons please reply. I want a list that's easy to link to because 5 different threads with multiple people was just not enough I guess.

local guy is running 12.01 in his 99 SS
he has k&n drop in filter (stock box), DR, and gutted cats. oh and a 100shot. His stock rear is crying every launch and his stock 4l60e and TC are on their last leg but he still gets 12.01-12.1 every time to the track

Based upon everything that I've read on here and one specific issue of Muscle Mustang's and Fast Ford (someone has to have it scanned) A late 4th Gen, stock as a rock LS1 F-Body will run a High 12 with the right conditions.

I have a bolt on Z. Will have a LS6 intake, underdrive pulley, 3.73's and lowering it. Speed Inc is doing the dyno tune. I'm looking for mid 12's with tires. I'll post vid and a slip when I get it.

Car in my sig ran 11.69 bolt-on only.. and whoever it is, is a retard if they don't consider a stall a "bolt-on". "bolt-on" refers to motor mods not drivetrain.... There's plenty of M6's running 11's with just bolt-ons also. The norm is mid-low 12's... high 12's is SLOW if your full bolt-on IMO

Ive personally seen stock 273 cars run 13.1's-2's...along w/ several cars that have hit 12's bone stock...shouldnt take anymore then a lid, headers, the right driver/traction to get mid 12's. If I wasnt afraid to blow out my rear i could probably hit 12.20-30's w/ some traction.
