Possible Yes....

"Stock" meaning down to the air filter.

A stretch Yes.

Really good driver, good track prep, good traction, good weather yes.

I'm pretty sure the best time of a stock LS1 was a 02 z28 that went 12.9 BONE STOCK down to the paper filter. Just need some sticky tires and a GREAT launch.

well my friends first time ever going to the track with a t56 just ran a 13.1 with just a lid and free mods. it was in not so great weather conditons. so that leaves me to believe it is possible.

Stock 02 LS1 Camaro run 12's, Bone stock, I would have to say no, High 13's would be doing something, Most I have seen in real life run low 14's

you must not be in very good weather etc becuz my stock camaro went 13.1 in hot weather and then my stock ws6 went 13.1 in bad air too! they both would have gone easy 12's!

You are right about the bad weather for racing and I have owned them I just never had one that would run 12's stock, I race them on test and tune and know they are bone stock, Most run low 14's this time of year, Not saying it isn't true just never seen one

We laugh at 14 second LS1's in Kansas City.....lol I ran a 13.3 on crap Fuzion tires. 275's, with full weight, 6 speed, and also at 106 mph. 60' was 2.2 though so I believe it could've went 12.9 with a decent set of DR's and some better track time (first time at the track and the weather was a bit humid, like always here lol)

From what I've seen the 6 speeds tend to mph higher but the autos have a better ET. Also the 60's are better with most autos as they aren't as afraid to launch higher on the stock rear end since it's preloaded.

I went 12.9 @ 10? in my '01 WS6, 6-speed. Only mod was a Lid & filter. 12's is possible stock if you can drive the **** out of it, it's a stong car and the conditions are right.

I'd say it's all in your traction. If you have good tires, it's very possible. If the car is maintained to it's full potential, and you were optioned with the SLP Lid/SLP Dual/dual from the factory, then I'd say it's entirely possible.

There are a lot of different LS1 combos in our cars. 2.73 geared a4's, 3.23 geared a4's...3.42 m6's. Some came with the lid/catback from the factory, some didn't. Then there were stripper z28's etc..

01-02 m6 or a stripper z28 would be the 2 most likely to run high 12's from the factory. IMO.

you could definately hit 12's, but its gotto be 40* out with a near -DA. driver mod is the key though.
