Default 1.79 60' on street tires with an m6.

Unfortunately it didn't lead to a new best, but I was more than happy, considering the track conditions. I ran a 12.39 @ 112 on that pass.

Nice, I did two 1.74's on Thursday night with my 275 z rated tires. Mines a stalled A4 though.

The tires are Toyo Proxis 4. I wasn't really watching the tach to see where the rpms were but my guess would be between 3k- 3500. I rode it out a bit before I went full throttle. I normally launch around 2500 but for some reason decided to go a bit higher on that pass.

Very impressive 60' times.

Just reminds me of how bad I need to work on mine. I've only made about 6 passes total in my m6. Nothing in that range for me... yet

Congrats!

Mcleod clutch. My stock clutch used to slip me to some 1.8s also but this clutch definitely doesn't do that. I should also comment that I run the tires at 30 psi.

thats a great 60ft!
im a stock stall a4 and i put down 335 hp and 353 ft-lb of tq and best 60 ft i pulled was a 1.79 and i on 275/40/17 nitto drags.
i also have a adj ta,lca's,relo brackets.
but this is also right after a round of mods and i dident expect to go to the track so i had almost a full tank of gas lol so i guess i dident do to bad.
i only ran a 12.8@107 but the extra gas and it being 80 out side dident help so im hopeing for mid 12's maybe even if im lucky low 12's.

Yes. They are the stock sized tire on the factory SS wheels.

Thanks. The compound doesn't feel very soft. I'll check the treadwear label when I get the chance. I was able to pull off 1.82 on Kumhos and they were definitely a hard tire. I think alot has to do with the time I've spent trying to launch on street tires, and track prep is very important. If only I didn't miss gears so often, maybe I would be able to run better times.

I hated these tires when I first got them. They really didn't seem to handle as well as the Kuhmos. After a few trips to the track, all is forgiven.

I have to say you are the king of the 60'! I rarely miss shifts, but I wish I could bust off sub 2.00 60's.

My clutch doesn't fully engage until the pedal is almost to the floor. It forces me to push the seat forward pretty far and it really does slow down my shifts. When I don't have the seat in the perfect position, I usually end up blowing shifts.
