Default Scammer Magicman327--aka-jack Johnson

Latest update on SCAMMER-MAGICMAN327--AKA-JACK JOHNSON
Looks like 8 Plus members this guy Scammed money from!!! Here is the latest from my Paypal account...
Just got my letter from Paypal yesterday (1/28/06). It's been 10 days since I filed my case against the "MagicTURD!" Sure, I got my "Dear John letter", But started out as "Dear Bruce" The same Bla-Bla-BLA ****, BUT they (Paypal) did get back $44.83 from his account. In fact, that part of the letter stated:

We have concluded our investigation of your Buyer Complaint. The details of
this claim are listed below.

We have decided in your favor, and as a result, have attempted to recover
funds from the seller.
The maximum amount we were able to recover was $44.83 USD. This amount has
been credited to your PayPal account. Please allow up to five business days
for this adjustment to be reflected in your PayPal account.

If you are due any additional amount from the seller, we will make our best
effort to recover the balance from the seller.

If the seller's account has insufficient funds to complete the refund owed
to you, please be assured that we will take appropriate action against the
seller's account, which may include limitation of the seller's account
privileges.

I also called them and they told me to be patient, that they are trying to recover all of the 305.00 that I sent this SLEAZE BALL!! It's not fair the way Paypal treats their good customers! Sure, you best bet that THEY got their 3
and 1/4 percent. What about me? I'll see as time goes by.

Default Add FURIOUSS99 to the list

Trevor Penner AKA FURIOUSS99 406 Melrose Avenue West, Winnipeg, MB. R2C 1P1 CANADA

Took the money I sent for insurance on a D1 kit and pocketed it. Now i have $700 in damaged and missing parts with no basis for a claim.

Beware of this rip off.

Default Brandon Barnett (GMMotorSports) Searcey, AR

I advertised the need (on LS1.com) for a k-member for a 2000 Z/28. He responded that he had one that would work. I received a part that has different motor mount locations and is, obviously, not the correct application, although it will bolt to the frame.

I told him about the problem and he started saying how I just need to get different motor mounts and he had removed it from a 99 Firebird.

I contacted GM with the part number and found that it's an LT-1 part. Barnett disputes the fact (how one can argue with the factory is a real head-scratcher) and refuses to give me a refund.

The purchase was made through PayPal and the transaction is complete so he's got his money and I have his junk.

His PayPal email address is fbodysalvage@cablelynx.com. I think he said he works from his father's business, but I'm not clear on that, and it's in Searcey, AR.

Hope this helps others to avoid this guy.

Jeff

I would like to report benz-ta as a bad seller. I sent him $340 a little over 2 weeks ago and still have not gotten it or any response from him. I made a complaint with paypal, but they only got $43.16 back. There are a few other people that also did not receive their items. Is there anything else I can do?

Default Brian Scott

Brian Scott of Michigan AKA Brian1 AKA turbobuick = crap seller

I got duped out of $310. Bought a LS6 block from Brian Scott last December. Long story short, it was finally shipped a month later after countless lies, but without main caps. Where are the main caps Brian?

"I will find main caps tommarrow and send them out." "I owe you a complete block and i will deliver."

That was over 2 months ago (over 3 months since the initial transaction). If there is anything I've learned about my dealings with good old Brian Scott, it's that he will say anything to cover his ***, but his word means absolutely nothing.

Decided to cut my losses as see what it would go for on Ebay without main caps. Pulled it out of the box he shipped it in to take some pics (yes, he sent a 100 pound block in a cardboard box!), and here's what I found:

Thanks for your junk Brian Scott!

Another for the list:

1-Joey Evans, aka Crazyplaya182 from Chatanooga, Tennesee\

2-Autometer Fuel Pressure Gauge, $125.00, Waited MONTHS for a response let alone my merchandise or a refund. Dropped all communication and ignored all my attempts to contact him until things were about to get ugly (while still listing other stuff for sale on here!!). 2 months later I recieved an excuse about why the merchandise hadnt been shipped yet (after he had promised me months earlier that it HAD been shipped!). It wasnt until I threatened to smear his name all over the net that he decided to answer a PM.

3-Gauge was FINALLY recieved after 10-20 PMs, AT LEAST 10 voicemails, and a slew of emails to Joey over the course of 2 months. However, he still owes me the Sending unit and the instructions for the gauge, which i have politely asked for a refund for because now I will have to buy them new from Autometer. At this point in time he has ignored EVERY one of my 10 PMs, text messages, voicemails, and emails asking him to do the right thing and set things right.

This guy is a straight scumbag, stay away from him! (I hope you read this Joey!). The second he has your money, you are completely out of luck. I would have just bought a new gauge if i had known the hassle and headache I was in for from him! Buyers beware!

I also got scammed by CamaroSS621. He sold me the wrong offset chrome ZR1's. He didn't have the money to buy them back so we worked out a deal that I would re-sell them to someone else and if I couldn't recoupe all the money, he would pay the difference. Well the difference was shipping of $120 to the next owner and now he pulls the "I'm not paying you $120 to sell your rims".

Scammer watch out

1. Bad Trader - 98WTA he is from somewhere in Florida
2. Timeframes - In April he was parting out a Camaro. I needed a simple piece of hardware (it's the nut that holds down the passenger side tailpipe on F-body cars) and asked how much he wanted to take it off and send it to me. He said $5 but I told him I would send $10 since he would have to go to a little bit of trouble to climb under the car and get it off. I sent him the money right away and never received anything. I sent him several PM's and he would either never respond or pretend like he didn't know who I was. Then finally in May I requested that he just send the money back. He responded and claimed he sent it to the wrong address but that he would send another one (which would be impossible since that particular piece of hardware is only found once on each F-body). In early June I received an evelope that was tore open. Apparently he sent me a piece of hardware (he described it as a bolt which isn't even close to the right part) but instead of putting it in a padded envelope or tiny box he put it in an evelope which of course got tore open from going through the machines at the post office. And now he's blowing me off and acting like I wronged him somehow. You can see his replies in this thread https://ls1tech.com/forums/negative-trader-feedback/513045-calling-98wta-never-received-part.html
3. Status - He has no intention of sending my money back and claims he fulfilled his part of the deal.
