Default Formula Splitter *Pictures*

I was finally able to pick up my 6LE Splitter today. It went on with no problems at all, and looks great.

Here are a few of the pictures:

I was going to post the same thing. It needs to be recessed more.

BTW how hard is it to put on? How long does it take?

I agree that it is too far out. In the pictures, it is virtually fully extended.

I will grab recessed pictures tomorrow.

It was really straightforward to put on. Not difficult at all. I'd say it should realistically take around an hour.

I thought I would like it more than I do. I'm kinda "ehh" about it all. It looks great on the Camaro, but on the Forms it's just meh. I'll still toss 6LE a BJ though.

Maybe I'm being a whiner but it does seem like everyone's splitter pictures are taken in either midday sun or midnight and you can never get the whole perspective

It creates less turbulence under the car and more down force...

I also created ours to get more air to the radiator and of course protect the paint on your bumper from getting scraped up

Adam's car looks AMAZING! Like my car's hot sister

They can be recessed more... However, I kind of like the fact that it makes the car look more aggressive full extended (Formula's are a little more low key than Trans-Ams and I think this is a nice touch).

Fully extended + triple digits I'd probably add support bars for stiffness...

On a side note, a splitter just saw OVER 150mph in Vegas (racing a twin turbo Stealth which it beat) and no deflection or vibration AND the car handled better with the splitter than without

Because I got it yesterday, and by the time it was installed it was dark out.

I will have more pictures later this morning...there is still frost on the car.

Unfortunately, due to my exhaust setup, it's not exactly possible.

Here are some more pictures. The splitter was not 100% retracted. Rather it was roughly 50/50.
