Richie... VERY NICE... question... I have some haze where the previous guy that buffed it for me seems to not of gotten it all off or still has some haze from the wet sanding... what compound do you suggest with a PC?

Is that some type of black mettalic? Also, it must be nice to have a 3 car garage. Around here, the only time they put in a 3 car garage is if it's over a 4000 sq ft home.

Geez... looks like they washed that car with a scotch brite pad! Excellent job of the transformation. What Compounds did you use? Did you use a carnuba or a sealant on the final finish? looks amazing!

ae13291- He machine polished the car with a buffer. Claying a car only removes contaminants such as industrial fallout, rail dust, over spray ect. You will need someone to use a DA or rotary buffer on your car to get the swirls out completely

if the guy that detailed your car did a thorough job, the Orbital (such as a porter) should have done the trick...that is if he used the right pads with the appropriate abrasives. He may have just put a sealer on there to cover it up.

Judging by the severity of the swirls and imperfections in the car that the OP posted, he surely used a rotary to correct the paint. It would have took a while with an orbital. Im not saying that it can't be done with an orbital, but it would take a hella long time to complete to those results.
