Default subwoofers and t-top storage

To all with aftermarket stereos, where are you putting your t-tops if you have subwoofers? I would like to get a couple 12s for the hatch but then I lose my t-top storage area. I have thought about removing the rear seat and making a custom box to replace it, but I would like to know what the rest of you are doing.

If you go with the "Stealth Box" you can mount 1 12" sub in the back and still retain your t-top space.

Only downside is that you can't fit 2.
But I've heard a Camaro with 1 12" JL Audio sub.
It was loud.

Seems to me I've seen a picture of a stealth box on either side, one where the spare tire goes, one where everyone always puts them.

Just my 2cents

Someone on LS1.com and CamaroZ28.com was making 12" stealth boxes for both sides, so you could have two 12's in the trunk. The only problem was on the passenger side you had to take the spare out. However, I don't think he is selling them/making them anymore.
**Edit**
I'm going to have two 12's in the trunk. I'm having a box from www.subthump.com made, I will prob. loose my t-top space, but I will put them in the back seat when they are off. One more excuse not to drive a lot of people around

I was gonna remove my rear seat and have a custom box made for a couple of 12s angled backed a few degrees towards the hatch area.

Bling Bling....where are the 20's...

The Monsoon system is really good, but the only problem that they system has is that its got paper cones instead of a rubberish cone....they blow easy and rattle in short time...

I think my monsoon system is fine. I have no complaints about it. The only reason I am putting subs in my car is because my friend was trading his car in, and basically gave me two 12's, an amp, and an enclosure for free.

I have a 10" stealth box, and it is more than loud enough.. Unless you're looking to win SPL competitions and stuff, a stealth box would more than suffice!

Steve: where did you get the Stealth Box for the passenger side at? Is there enough air space i those Stealth boxes for 12 inchers or are the 10s better?

Won't help with your 12s, but I got a stealth box for the cubby hole in the hatch area from http://www/the-woodshop.com. It will only fit 8" or 10" subs, so I got a 10, and it POUNDS! You wouldn't be disappointed with either the sound enhancement or the shake factor with one 10" and that custom enclosure. Plus it's only like $99 US.

Steve: Is that passenger stealth box a JBL product? That would rock.
