I'm building an iron 370ci for the camaro, should get the block back from the machine shop next week so it's time to start thinking about color schemes for everything. Here's how the 5.7 looks now:

Here's the color schemes I'm mulling over:
#1 (old skewl)
Block = chevy orange
Heads = bare aluminum
Timing cover, waterpump, tensioner = silver
Valve covers = chevy orange w/polished "Chevrolet"
Intake = silver w/Fast92 lettering in chevy orange
#2
Block = silver
Heads = bare aluminum
Timing cover, waterpump, tensioner = gloss black
Valve covers = gloss black w/polished "Chevrolet"
Intake = gloss black w/Fast92 lettering in silver
#3
Block = NBM
Heads = bare aluminum
Timing cover, waterpump, tensioner = silver
Valve covers = NBM w/polished "Chevrolet"
Intake = NBM w/Fast92 lettering in silver
These are the valve covers I'm using, the bowtie/script will remain polished as is but color everywhere else:

So those are my choices right now. I'm leaning heavily towards #1, but I'm beginning to worry all that chevy orange won't look good against the NBM engine bay. I think #3 might look good, but would probably require repainting the engine bay NBM and clearing it to match the intake/valvecovers....rather not go through all that work, but I guess there'd be no better time to do it. If I'm going through the trouble of spraying the bay, #1 would look bitchin against a satin black engine bay! Thoughts?

+ 1.....while the engine bay, is out hide the wiring and anything lse you can if you havent already, and paint it NBM to match the car, or just a simple semi gloss rattle can job for an old school look would do. buttt ya gotta take advanatge of having the motor out to paint the bay nice!!!!
