As far as I know the A4 is the auto, right? and I have looked far and wide for an aftermarket shifter when I had my old 93 auto. Couldnt come up with anything for it. As far as I know your stuck with the factory one. But go here to see my shifter
www.skullmanonline.com
go to the skull shifters. It is by far the best one I have ever found!. Does require some drill and tap work but looks great.

<img src="http://www.ryans2000z28.freewebspace.com/images/momoknob.jpg" alt="" /> Heres my Momo Cobra ****... it rattles quite a bit because it uses the 3 screw mounting technique, rather then being a screw on. But it fits your hand almost perfect, its ALOT smaller then the stock ****, and it looks pretty good IMO <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I just bought my husband a Billet Shift **** from www.mbaproducts.com/interior.htm
It is the the round 2" black one with a Chevy Bowtie. They also have one that says "LS1" and I think "SS" too. I belive some of the sponsors carry MBA products.

Its one of those things that just makes the car feel new to me everytime I get in her. White Hurst **** with 6 speed pattern. <img src="http://bingweb.binghamton.edu/~bg24149/images/CarPictures/shifter7.jpg" alt="" />
Can't make out the pattern in black though, it's from too far away. But I'm sure most people know what a Hurst **** looks like <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I use the hurst one, it's like a little bar that goes left and right, not some ball.
I can shift so much easier with it, when you really need to yank that stick it goes, no hand slipping off, no trying to find a grip posistion, just grab and pull, the hurst works really really well.

Camarocain - This is where I am getting mine from. I feel like it should be a good product. I have personally emailed the guy and he said that the adapter for the F-body will be out in about a week but I am going ahead and putting my order in before.
This link shows the corvette mod but the f-body mod will be the same only with a slight difference to help fit better and plus it will be 10 bucks cheaper!
http://www.cau-llc.com/Instructions/...ter%20Inst.htm
Hope that helps,
Mike
