Interior Mod For Me-Wolf 6 Point Roll Cage-Pics>>
I really like the way it looks, I am not much of a racer. It is a good balance of muscle car looks and the soft interior. It took me a day and a half to install it. Great fit and finish.
I am pretty proud of the way I got the rear bars to position into the back quarters.
(sorry the above sentence is misleading, I ment to say "to cut through the speaker grill into the back quarters" I did not repositiion the bars, they can not be moved)

Thats a nice cage, how much did it cost you when it was all said and done, I know some shops vary in cost, but its usually around 100 bucks a point...
Are your speakers in the back still working or did you have to unplug them? Usually with the 6-pointers I've seen that do that land in the center of the speaker, thats why I've never considered that and have always thought of going with the cage that puts the rear bars more towards the middle of the rear...

Those look great! I like that you didn't have to sacrifice the rear speakers. Fill us in on more info!

Re: Interior Mod For Me-Wolf 6 Point Roll Cage-Pics>>
The total cost was $830.00 with shipping. I bought it from TByrne Motorsports. I installed it myself, $00.00 cost.
Base price was $574.99.
2 swing out doors $85.00 ea = $170.00.
*1 removable cross bar $45.00.
Shipping $75.00.
Discount $25.00.
I was supprised with the speaker situation. I did not move the bars in any way and really they could not have been relocated. The bars are where they landed which was perfect. The speakers in my back were 5 to 6 inch round ones, I thought they were oval by the way the speaker grill looked. I just remounted the speakers on the other half of the opening under the speaker grill.
It took me quit a while to cut the speaker grill, nibbling a little at a time to get the hole for the bar to fit perfect, but the results were good.
I thought that the speakers would of had to be relocated all together - not the case.
*Just a note, the removable cross bar makes the cage not NHRA compliant. Not an issue to me, I wanted a user friendly back and I figure it can be welded if I want to get serious.
No track times with the Procharger, I have never been to the track...yet.
Thanks for the compliments,
Todd

How is it going? Your engine really looks nice!
I need to step it up a bit to keep up with your engine details.
I will take a close up and post it of the front. The floor mat has to be moved over 1 inch to the center to fit properly, without cutting it. I used my old mats and cut them to fit around the front post perfectly, and I did the same with the rear floor mats. I think they look better that way.
Actually the SS one fits almost perfect on the passenger side because they are made nicely for the hump. The drivers side SS mat looks a little out of place and would have to be trimmed on the SS logo...that's not going to happen!
Wolf really has the bends perfect, 1/4 of an inch or closer spacing all the way around that puppy. The seats just brush the side bar when closed.
Here is a pic of the rear floor mat/center post...

Very Nice!!! Looking for a cage for looks for the time being. Looked at Wolfe and some custom ones. What made you decide to go with Wolfe?

Now you've got me dreaming of a roll cage. Damn you!! LOL
Have you looked into adding some harnesses? Those always look really cool in a souped up car.

They make a bar that goes below the front of the seat for the belt that attaches by your feet. I am not sure if you really need the kind of seats with the holes on both sides of your shoulders for the belts to go through for it to work.
I'll tell ya, I went back to my dealer after one year to show them the car. The roll cage was a big hit. Seeing a new car with a nice cage made for the car, not some home made thing, was very impressive to them. Me and 8 mechanics spent an hour talking about my car. LOL.
It really is a nice clean looking cage, and easy to install.

Todd,
Your car is looking might fine. That cage install is fantastic. Your attention to detail really shows. I aggree with Mark, now I want one, but would look a little out of place in a convertible IMHO!
Keep up the good work.

Wolfe is working on a full cage also, that would be extreme for the extreme driver.
They even have parachute kits also.

Todd,
I'm curious about how much stiffer/solid the car feels with the roll-cage installed. Also, is this a bolt-in or weld-in setup. I'm only familiar with the Kenny Brown setup.
Thanks, Dave '01 WS6 T/A, '91 GTA
