Default any1 make their own custom battery cover

looking for some ideas on making my own battery cover. dont really have the cash to dish out $100 for one either....thanks for the input!

they look nice, but what is it?!? Fiberglass or ABS, or what!??! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> I would really like one to surround the battery on the top and two exposed sides, with cables running under it as well. Anyone?!?!

It is heat formed plexiglass that was painted to match the car. I am working on a few new ones that cover the 2 exposed sides of the battry as you described. I am also trying to work with carbon fiber to make carbon covers. I will get some pics when I get he new ones finished.
If anyone wants th one on my Vette I will sell it for $48,000 and throw the car and everything else in for free <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
