Dynamat alternative?

Dynamat alternative?
Ok so I am installing new speakers, tweeters, subs, etcetc. I figured since i have to take out my carpet to clean and re wire my car, i might as well replace it. I also looked at something to reduce road noise and rattle, but its pretty expensive. I was wondering if i could put some sort of truck bedliner material down, how well would this work and how much would it be? PM me if you need any details. Please and Thank you.
PS- Just ordered new black carpet

I've been thinking about getting some Fat Mat to put inside my center console. If you've ever had your center console off while driving, you notice how much road and transmission sound it cuts out, and that's just a thin piece of plastic. I think laying down some sound deadening underneath it will reduce it a lot more, without having to pull up the carpet and such.

I'm looking to do the same. The Drone on the highway is a little painful and I'd like the interior to be more quiet. my next door neighbor did the dynamat thing and it really quieted his down.

WOW, I just checked into that eDead stuff that I'm pretty sure I am going that route. That stuff is cheap. My neighbor did dynamat in his car and spend 220 dollars just on the rear half of his car. I'm sure I could eDead the whole car for that much.
