pics of my *gasp* neon
Well, it's not actually neon. I got a couple of cold cathode tubes for $12 and figured I'd hook them up. I think they make a nice accent. Scroll down towards the bottom to see pics.
*edit* This thread is super old and this link no longer works. However, I've uploaded all the photos that I have of the install.

Cool, my accent color is red, I bet it would look badass up my nose! My local cops harass me enough unfortunately, I'm sure they would bust me soon enough. But just for ***** and giggles, how DID you route the wiring, what kinda tubes did ya use?
Again, neat idea,

Well,
I took some pics of the install. I got the tubes from www.elwirecheap.com
Basically, there is a small transformer that I put in a small project box from radioshack. I modified the box with some weather stripping to make it semi-weather proof. The box is then attached inside the nostrils, in the middle with some 3m tape.
The tubes are 6" long and are mounted under the front lip between the upper and lower nostrils. They are secured with 3m tape as well. Hopefully you can see where they are mounted in the pics.
The wires are routed through the usual firewall grommet. You can see how they were attached in the pics. Inside the car is a regular illuminated rocker switch that I installed in the tcs panel. The power and ground for the switch are taken from the cig lighter.
Anyway, here are the pics.
