Default how dark as far as tint

have a question and i need opinions, i can go as dark as i want on my tint and im trying to find some opinions on how dark, should i just do 3% on sides and the back? (not doing t-tops because i still have the trusty inserts) or should i do 3% and maybe something like 8% on the sides. im in a pickle and im setup to get it done tomorrow, it gets old riding in a bubble you know lol. well heres some pics of the car and yes it will be lowered in the near future

hope to hear from you guys soon

3% is way to dark. 15% is perfect as far as tint goes IMO..here is mine with 15%...Can still see at night, keeps the car cool, looks great.

I've got 15 on the sides, and not sure what is on the back, its dark as **** though. 5 or less. Small strip on the wind shield, like 3 inches, and my ttops have stock tint no shades. Black interior also helps.
Now during the day through the sides you barely see the outline of a person if in direct sun. Now if in the shade or parked under a tree, really gonna have trouble seeing in my car.
At night time, same thing. You could probably barely see the faint glow of the cherry of a cigarette. Now if its been raining or there is any water on the windows, forget about seeing ANYTHING, even in broad daylight.
Kind of hard to backup at night, and I find myself rolling down the windows to help see at night.
Go with 15 and tell them to tint the hell out of the back.
Also, just got a warning citation for my tint a couple weeks ago. Not a fix it ticket, but a "hey your tints illegal" kind of written warning.

All I know is I have 5% on my truck and unless Im driving down the main road with all kinds of lights outside, I cant see the ground if I look out the window. I dont see how people drive at night with 5% with the windows up.

Youre going to do 5% and 8%? Why? Complete waste of time IMO.
This is 35%:

It was a little cloudy when this picture was taken:

I have 20% and I find that to be just right. Can still see decently at night, and during the daytime no one can see in.

35 is a waste imo, just isnt dark at all. If your gonna get tint get it right the first time.

I have 20 on the sides and rear, and IMO I wanted to go darker.. But for the fact the my car stands out enough and cops like to follow me around I didnt wanna give them another reason to pull me over.. Although I would wanna go 5 sometime.. Atleast on the back..

in my old town where im from i got yanked over for everything, but it was because my car was alot more than this one lol. i know what you mean with the getting pulled over for every little thing. i hope baton rouge police depts. have more to do with their time than mess with some cat with really dark tint, with all the murders, drug **** and kids in the "college scene" i think theyre not to worried about window tint

I prefer 5% or less on the rear and 15% on the sides. Classy dark instead of ghetto dark, IMO.

No one can see in? Except EVERYONE.

I can see the other side window, I can see the upper and cloth panels of the door on the opposite side, the seat and seatbelt on the drivers side. Hell I can even pick out bits of the passenger side seat.

You must be delusional!
