Default hid fog lights?

does anyone know where to get some hids for the fog lights? I know that sounds weird but my friend with a cobra has some and they are so bright he doesn't even have to use the headlights...

You can type up the 894 kit on eBay. I am researching the same thing right now.

880 / 881 / 893 / 894 all fit into the same bulb socket. The only difference between those halogen bulbs is the wattage and angle of the connector which is irrelevant if you are getting an HID kit. BTW, check out DDM Tuning for a cheap kit... we need to get them as a sponsor.

What do yall think about the HID red lights kit on ebay? Both headlights and for lights. Would that look to ricey on a black SS?

I currently have a 4500K H9 HID Kit from DDM Tuning (for my low beam projectors). I've had it for a week so far.

Red HID? I've never heard of that. If it does exist, it would be one the stupidest headlight modifications I've ever heard of.
.... or is "Red Lights" a brand?

[sarcasm]Great just what I wanted.... I can't see where I'm going, everyone else on the road thinks I'm going in reverse, and the police are chasing me me down for a ticket...[/sarcasm]

BTW, yes red headlights are illegal. Red light output is not allowed on the front of a vehicle. Some people may get away with a marker or halo, but you definitely aren't getting away with red headlights.

Well, I ended up replacing the stock assemblies because the glass assemblies were all jacked up. So I replaced the stockers with a pair of Hella Micro DEs and substituted the included H3 bulbs with a pair of 8000K HIDs. Came out pretty good.

If I'm familiar enough with the Kelvin scale, isn't a Red color ALL the way on the bottom, meaning, Barely ANY light output? That would be even worse than yellow lights.

If you want the best visibility find a 4300K HID kit, but I've usually only seen those with projectors. If not 5000-6000K would be better output. As you get bluer/purple the actual visibility will reduce a bit. Otherwise just find some on ebay. If you want a good kit type in "894 Slim kit HID." The slim's are digital and more reliable. Their will be some glare but it's an improvement. If you need anything else related to lights, talk to VIP, he's the man.
