How many times can you use your clay bar before you have to throw it away?

depends on how bad the car is. I usually get about 6-7 per bar, with the bar cut in half. Sometimes on really bad cars, they will eat up 2 bars.

Right on. I just clay bared the wifes Coballt SS S/C yesterday with the Mothers kit and that thing was DONE after I did the whole car. I threw it away afterwards of course. I'd like to try Meguiars for the Trans Am next.

FYI, almost all automotive clay comes from one source in the US. Its all manufactured by Clay Magic. There is fine and aggressive grades. Pretty much all the over the counter bars are fine. Aggressive requires buffing afterwards as it will marr the paint.

The only major difference in most claybars is the color.

G2 Super springs... ( similar to Hypercoil)..
this is the first time i clay bar'd the car.. There are alot of embedded dirt.. VERY smooth to the touch now.. I'll do it again once the weather gets better.. The Camaro is put up.. I am in San Antonio this week on business.. driving the Charger...

Thanks for the comments... Also cleaned up my Charger..

Looks really good...adjust the passenger side hood stop and it'll be perfect...and polish your headlight lenses!!!
