Default UPDATE My new gauge cluster Sweet!
UPDATED PIC, just noticed that was an old pic, I added the silver trim...


I love the way this looks. Much time and some money have been spent to get them to look just right.

Parts:

2 RX8 clusters, used the needles

1 C5 Cluster, used the gauge rims



Now I need the LED conversion...

Damnit i was hoping you chopped up the RX8 gauges and used them, always one of my favorites. But yours are VERY nice!!!

The problem with the RX8 cluster is no speedo. Its digital only. I loved the RPM gauge and the LEDs.

My original plan was to use the C5 overlays over the TA overlay and use the C5 needles. But remember the C5 needles aren't lit. So the RX8 had those black/blue LEDs so I was going to use those to light up the C5 needles. I was also lining up the speedo for the 200mph. I got about 70% done and got into my LT1 recam then my LS408 so its been like 9mos.

Bezel trim from the C5...the needles are Rx8..the needles fit PERFECT! so do the c5 needles but they are too short on the oil, fuel, temp, volts...

There are about 15hrs just in the bezel trim. This is as close to the C5 look as I can get.

Now I need to do the LEDs and that will be the cherry on the top!
