I had my drivers power window motor die and I had to tape plastic over the window opening and now that the window is fixed how do I remove the residue from the duct tape without ruining the paint?

GooGone, available at most auto stores, works like a charm for any sticky residue.

3M has an adhesive remover that you spray on, let it soak and remove. GooGone works well also.

paint thinner...it's clearcoat safe as long as you wipe it off

bug and tar remover you can buy it at pep boys...i used it when i removed my side molding...i had a **** load of that sticky tape residue all down both sides of my car and it worked amazing..goo gone i har is great to never used it tho
