Default Autometer Ultra-lite or Phantom FTW?

I'm making some changes.
Give me an idea on which direction to go with my 2 5/8 Autometer center A/C gauge. In my opinion the Insrument cluster overlay (I'll be sticking with Macewen) and the gauge faces should match. Wanna see which way I'm gonna head.

WHITE (Phantom) / SILVER (Ultra-lite)

Post up your pics please!

Very nice,
ya know... I did a ton of searching and never came up with yours. Great example, Thanks

As good as that looks, I'm a baby and after trying to go without A/C for a year... I NEED IT (only one gauge for me)
You have some amazing shots of that bird BTW!

Ultra-lite is an awesomely popular gauge too, anyone with a comeback?

Do yourself a favor, and don't do all three. I find it's not a problem when you're cruising with the windows down if it's not too cold, or too hot, but if the temp varies to the extremes, the foot vents are not enough to keep up. If you DD your car, I wouldn't suggest it, it looks cool, but I'm now realizing how much of a pain in the *** it might become.

SVT bait.

Did you have to do anything special to get those to fit in the vent holes?
Im guessing you just went with the bigger size they offer.

I know when i had my turbo my boost controller, fit in their perfect.

Im personally not a fan of white gauges, but they look good in SVT baits car.

Ill be going with carbon fiber.

Between the two, the white looks cleaner.

BTW,,, Is that a pyrometer? Do you really need that since you have a wideband?

Thanks for the kind words!

All you need is the 2 5/8" gauges, and then remove all of your vents. The opening is slightly larger than the gauges, so you should wrap them with electrical tape so they stay in. I'd also suggest stuffing the vents with something so the air doesn't blow on your gauges.

It is a pyrometer, and no, I really don't need it...especially with the wideband. A friend was trying to get rid of it, so I took him up on the offer.

I have Ultralites but they 2 1/16" with adapters. I do have a custom matching overlay for the main guages that will get put in sometime this summer.

Here is what it looks like.

Very nice... I like how you are carrying the theme throughout.
The Instrument cluster ovelays are one of the best things you can do to the interior IMO, you will be very happy!

Thanks bud, you da man!
The pics really help... As mentioned, I'm changing a few things.
Funny thing is, being an LT1, I get compliments on a lot of the things I have left unmolested (stock). I've had the car since it was new and I have been guilty at times of trying to make more of a sports car of it than a muscle car, so as of late I have pulled the white HVAC and Dimmer Switch overlays and put back some of the original interior pieces that I painted silver and such... with all the silver radio bezels I see on here these days I guess I just don't feel special anymore?
At least I was smart enough to keep duplicates of all the things I "molested"!

I was actually very fond of the Ultra-lites for a long time and was gonna get another Macewen Instrument cluster overlay in silver but as stated the white Phantom's give a very clean look and I think I may end up going that route and keeping the white Macewen that is on now?

You can always get a custom overlay like I did. I had samples sent to me to match the Ultralites.

LOL, it has been 19 months and getting pretty close now. I decided to leave any bling till after I get it back on the road. Then I will complete all the little shiny bits I have. Right now I am finishing up the install of the Big Stuff 3 computer and the spliced wiring.
