Default Just used the turtle wax black box

Well i ran out of NXT so i went to autozone and saw the black box. It was $20 and it said it is specially made for black cars. so i gave it a try. It has a pre wax cleaner, carnuba wax, and spray detailer all of which look like used motor oil. You start off with the pre wax cleaner. it is very messy and runny. you let it dry like wax and use the spray detailer to take it off. It stains all of your rags black. next is the wax which is pretty typical as far as application. when taking off the cleaner and the wax i sprayed the car with the detailer and wiped it with one rag. I then buffed the panel with a dry towel. You will use atleast 4 towels. The results were impressive but i havent decided if it was worth all the hassel. tell me what you think of the results.

Thanks. the befores wouldnt have helped much because it had a fairly fresh coat of nxt on it. it just put a real deep gloss on it. Made it more reflective. Its definately not a once a month product. The wax may be but the cleaner is such a pain to use. Since its black it filled in some of the rock chips and scratches that would otherwise show up white. I think it would look good with a good carnuba like souveran or zymol on top of it. Thanks for looking guys.

You can kinda see in these pics how some of the rock chips are cleared up.

ive used this on my 99 ss and I think it worked very well for my original paint. It seemed to fill in some scratches and chips and also removed or covered up most of the swirls in the paint. The spray detailer works well by itself after a wash, and they give you two bottles of it.

It's a bitch to use the cleaner monthly, but i do use the wax once a month, keeps the car looking like glass.

ive used the cleaner once and the wax twice. I dont wash my car that often though, so it might be a while before I use it again. I DD my car and its black, so id have to wash it every other day to keep it clean. I dont have time for that, because I spend 12 hours a day working on cars.

Hey fxgs are those FM5's? if so are those center caps custom, or just a decal? I want to get some black centered FM5's, they are so badass.
