Question about DRL bulb color

Question about DRL bulb color since the lens on the TA DRL's is clear... and the bulb is yellow, is it possible to replace the bulb with a white one and have white DRL's?? If so, anyone know the bulb number?

Re: Question about DRL bulb color I don't have the buld number.. but yes its possible i did it to mine.. all u do is take out the 2 screws underneith the light, pull back the flap and reach up there and twist it out.. just bring the buld in and match it up.. or just take it out and read the part # on it.

Re: Question about DRL bulb color Yeah go to kragen or Napa, they will have a sheet to get you the right bulb number. Most manufacturers of bulbs make them in clear and in orange. I think mine is sylvania or something like that, they made camaro drl bulbs in orange and clear.

Re: Question about DRL bulb color Well mine are bulbs.. im sur eu can get red.. if not u could always paint the stock lights? i used model car paint on my old IROC! and worked awsome.. but i used a blue that looked kinda green when they were on.. after all u don't use the reverse lights all the time so u don't need to worry about the paint burning off. but i would look into reb bulds first.. the place i got mine didn't have them.. just blue and white

Re: Question about DRL bulb color Personally, I'd leave my reverse lights white. Otherwise how'd people know when you are backing up? Especially if they are red? I do have taillight covers so you dont see anything until the taillights light up.
