Hi there - I just joined this board, and thought I'd start off with a posting of my most recent mod - new wheels and tires. Z06 replicas, painted silver, 18" by 10.5" wide, with Yokohama AVS dB 275/35 tires. The Z28 centercaps snap right into place for a 'factory' look.

Taking a front-to-back approach, I went with what's probably the largest off-the-shelf wheel/tire combo that will fit on the front of an f-body while matching the tire diameters to factory for gearing, speedo, ABS and ASR. This also makes for more balanced handling over the big/little wheel combo used on the 'vette (the Camaro being nose-heavy).

No rubbing, no mods to the car required. The 1LE PHR is off by 2mm, but I can live with that.

The only mistake I made was buying them from PWO. But they've been straightened locally, and look great.

10.5" wheels all the way around, <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> !!!!Looks good, I love the Z06 wheel on the Camaro, that's why I got them.

Thats it made up my mind silver Z06 wheels, not chrome. <img border="0" alt="[judgement]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_judge.gif" /> Been trying to decide which style to get for a while now.

That looks nice. I assume you scrape your tips as much as I do. I ordered Z06 rims too ,but since I HAD to have ordered the 18x9.5 chromes ,I have to wait for the 4 week backorder.

With the coilovers in front, it's adjusted just high enough that it never scrapes on any speed bumps, but I do have to go over them dead slow. I do hate nosing or backing towards a curb, as the nose or exhaust tips will hit.
