Has anyone used these?? Ive been borrowing some stock gm ones from a friend and decided its time to get my own and came across these. Should I give them a try or just get the factory shades??

I like them better than the OEM shades because they are more durable (flexible plastic instead of brittle styrofoam) and you can store them with the glass T-tops. Not to mention, my last set of OEM shades still let a little light through in the corners, ours block 100% of the sun.
We also have them on our site and you can use the LS1tech discount there.![Winky](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_wink.gif)

I got my mom a set of these for last Christmas and she loved them. She had been running around with some cardboard cutouts fitted in the t-top spaces; kind-a ghetto. The shades I got her are soooo much better. The quality is that material similar to the "hard, rough" plastic material used on the doors. They're dark grey...works really well with the t-top area. They're nice and flexible; easy to put on and off. But be careful. They can, intentionally, be compressed too much and can creased. If I didn't like to be able to "look" through the t-tops so much, I'd get a set for myself.

I got a set. Put them in during school so my seats aren't 102,000 degrees when I get in. I also noticed a different in temp altogether in the air in the car after sitting in the sun with them in as opposed to them being out.

Are these easy to take in and out without taking the t-tops off the car? I would love to slide them in when the car is parked when I'm in class and just remove them when I leave. I wouldn't want them in permanently because I love being able to see through them. If you have to take the t-top off the car(which I am assuming) I will probably hold off on these.
