Default Remove baffles on the WS6 hood?

Just wondering if anyone has done it...I bought a OEM ram air hood that had some damage, I fixed it but had to remove the baffles, now I'm wondering if I should put them back...I know they are there to reduce water when it rains but damn with them it wouldn't ram any air. I'd just be carefull in the rain if I HAD to drive it. Otherwise its in the garage.

If it's not a DD then leave them out. How often does a weekend car get caught in the rain?

Same here - have had mine out for years and been caught unexpectedly in a few major downpours with no issues.

Funny I'm in FLA...the rain has been bad for the past few mos. I agree, I don't think it would be too bad, I just won't drive fast or hope not on the hwy. Its not a daily. My LT1 is my daily but only like 15 miles a week. Sometimes 0...good to work at home.

Can someone post a picture of these baffles? The reason I ask is that I have a regular hood but am adding a shaker scoop too. I'd like to see what the WS6 hood baffles look like so I can possibly add them to my shaker to prevent water damage. Also where can I purchase the baffles if I decide I need them?
