Most of the inexpensive ones I've seen have a small cheap-feeling plastic box that is either white, blue, or black. As noted, that box contains the transformer. I'll let you know if I find anything better.

Here are some more expensive ones, but I don't know how the transformer looks:

Here is a DIY on making your own LED Halo Rings:

I've seen some variations of that too. There are some things I'd do different, for example, I'd solder the connections and no have that black wire loop the length of the ring like that, but just run the short gap. An alternative to the reflective tape could be silver paint. I wonder how well that tape holds up.

^^Thanks! Both the ones you linked to look good... As far as the DIY videos, Brian2006 had sent me that back in the day which is where this idea took birth.

My plan is to just let the stainless bracket I am using serve the purpose the reflective tape would...

Just a note, my current headlights have LED halos and they aren't that bright or noticeable in the daylight. My old set was CCFL and were great looking in the daylight and night but the headlights themselves didn't have as good of light output. Just saying, if you want them visible in the daylight CCFL is much better suited for that.

Considering replacing the LED halos in mine with CCFL and also modding a couple other things, just afraid I'll destroy something in the process.

I know that "red" CCFLs exist (though they tend to be pink-ish). Whether there are red CCFL halos I'm not sure.

Yeah they do make it... And I think the 2010 Camaros have LEDs halos...

But anyway Mark I have an idea for halos but I dont know how hard it would be to produce and make.. I may just see if I can do it for my own car.. IDK..

^^Back burnered but the brackets are done if someone just wants brackets to add their own Halos to.

They are waterjet cut from stainless steel for light dispersion...

Just like before. It is a ring the same shape as the Halo itself with a 90* bend (done on a break so it is clean) with holes for mounting on the bottom.
