It was very easy! If you know how to take off bolts, you should have no problem.. Check mine out! Now I just need some FRCs.

wow, that really cleans it up!! I'm plannin on cast aluminum for mine, since I have a black car, but the red wouldn't look too bad either. Mind if I ask how you got rid of your egr?? Or is your's a newer model? Get some FRC's and that will look VERY clean!!

WOW! Your intake manifold looks awesome. Get yourself some black FRC's and your in business. You've got me thinking about painting mine. Hmmm, I wonder what color would look good with my bright rally red Z28? I think even a glossy black would make a world of difference...

I think that red intake like he has would look awesome on rally red, only problem is, you would pretty much be copying him. Guess that's the highest form of flattery though. I'm thinkin about doin mine gloss black.

Mine was painted by a professional body shop with automotive BC/CC paints to match the Sebring Silver of my car. It's holding up great. Heat is no issue.

Thanks guys! Heat is not a problem for me, either, but the plastic can only get so hot..

As far as the EGR goes, I just took it out!

I just picked up a Holley/Lingenfelter aluminum intake for a good price, going to polish it and see how it comes out. Think I should bolt it up or just sell it polished?? I can make a profit off of it on ebay I know. I just don't know if I should use it myself or not.

When I have my heads and cam installed I'm going to take my intake to a body shop near my work and having them painted bright metalic silver to match all the other silver stuff I have.

Mark IXZD 150: I was already thinking of having my intake painted along time ago when I saw a pic of your intake. It looks awsome. Hope you dont upset because I'm having mine painted the same color, and if you do oh well . You are in IL and I'm in CA.
