Default Stud mounting retro Z-28 emblems?

I figured out how to mount the emblems on the sides with the studs and lock-nuts. But now how do I get to the area at the rear to stud mount the emblems?
I didn't want to use the two-sided tape cause I think it would be too easy to pop them off and also, I don't trust the tape too much.

Any suggestions? Thanks. <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" />

Why would I take the emblems off? They look great! If I ever did sell this car, the emblems go with it.

I dont plan on getting rid of mine either. I was saying the theifs. If they want them they will do what they can to get them. I was saying id rather them pull their **** off and get them. Ill spend $30 on more. But if they have to get the screwdriver out to see that they are bolted on and mess my car up it will cost more than $30 for shure. Just my opinion. I dont have locks on my $1k rims either so dont listen to me. :lol Take car man. Just speaking my mind.

I have the '70-'74 Z28 emblems on my car and they were put on with 3M nameplate repair tape. It is not that wide, but it is the thinnest mounting tape they make. Trust me, if you prep the CLEAN surface with 3M adhesive solvent first to remove any oil or grime and then cover the entire back of the emblem with mounting tape it WILL not come off of the car. I just could not bring myself to drill four holes in my brand new car, so I went with tape and I am completely satisfied.

Thanks guys. I finally found a place that had the 3M emblem tape. So that's how I'll mount the rear emblem. I looked in the Helms how hard it would be to get to that area, and it would be a b!tch.
