Any one ever used a Sham Wow on their car?
I bought some at the local flea market and was wondering if anyone uses these to dry their car. I don't want to scratch the paint.

i have both the absorber, and shamwow.
i'll use a towel to dry the car, then go over the rest one of those too pick up all the spots i missed, or get those hard to reach areas like under my spoiler

you can dry the absorber.....you just have to soak it before you use it again. i used to store mine moist, but it would absolutely reek when i used it again. now i just let it dry, then soak it before use.

Thanks guys, I have the absorber and the blade. I like them both but my absorber has gotten dirty from using it on my wheels. The only reason I bought the sham wow is because I watched the guy use it on carpet (like u see on tv with the coke stain). Wasn't sure about using it on the cars though. Thanks fellas, believe I'll leave em in the kitchen.

it wont tear, not unless you purposely rip it or something. having it dry is fine, and just leave it rolled in the tube. soak it in a bucket before you use it, and itll be fine. its worth the extra 5 min of prep, then to smell the rank mildew of keeping it wet.
as far as the commercial goes......do you also believe the tornado works for power and mileage, because it was in a commercial? watch it on youtube carefully....notice its not a continuous shot. the camera cuts before he lifts the carpet, meaning they dried it up, then started filming. also, what happened to all the water that was on the counter? that magically disappeared, without him ever touching the sham to the counter itself....it was only on the carpet.
