I can't do my lid b/c i have one that is textured, same with the coil/fuel rail covers (not really interested in sanding and filling the 'corvette' and all that) did the b-pillar triangle and the taillight filler panel on my firebird and i didn't like it. Did my Camaro's berger about a year ago but i couldn't get it to stay stuck inside the letters, even with adhesive promoter. I never took any pictures, kinda upset about that now.

I never cared to try any of the interior panels b/c of the little texture on it but after a few guys did it and it appears to be successful, i might wrap a few things.

W did a truck interior with some black wood DI-NOC and it didn't stick, i'm not sure if it was the armor all infused in the plastic or the texture, but it didn't stick. I wiped the dash off with xylene and alcohol and it still came up when the interior got hot. I think i posted some pictures a few pages back. We only do smooth surfaces now.

Yea, if the surface has ever had greasy interior dressing used its a pain to get it completely off the plastic. You best bet is to put a coat of primer on the part to give you a fresh surface & help get rid of some of the texture.

I came really close to sending all my pieces off to be done by a non-sponsor just so I wouldnt have to mess with it myself, but wanted to give it a try first. Honestly if it doesnt hold up I'm goin with hydro dipping next time around.

We hosed it down with bull dog adhesive, hahahaha...it was just the corners and edges that would peel back a little when it got hot. Gotta dip the part in a bucket of jb weld if it has a texture and some dressing.

Where on earth did u find the 3m brushed aluminum at ?? I can find EVERY other type of finish in the Di-noc line but nobody lists the aluminum that Ive seen .

The Aluminum looks really good , but I think would look better on flatter peices . I never thought silver or aluminum accents lent themselves well to the type pf shapes in any of the F-car interiors . If that window bezel was a flat piece and the edges sat flush with the pocket it snaps into , it would look sweet .

Just got a yard in the mail! Planning on FRC's, fuse box covers, and maybe the radio bezel and switch panels if I have enough.

Here's my interior with the Di-noc stuff. I couldn't get it to lay right on my own, so I gave the pieces to my local vinyl guy to do for me. I also added the Trailblazer shift **** and put the CF on there myself.
