Default LOL. I don't know to exactly where to put this... Camera mount Q.

Has anyone used this particular brand? How is it?

It's from 6litereaterdesigns...

Is it everything included minus the camera?

Thinking about buying this for my road racing event.

you could just email them via there website, or PM them directly. instead of posting up a thread and having to wait for them to find this.

Already did that Chief before I posted this. I'd like to hear the user's opinion about the product.

I remember this question being asked when it was released and it's only the bar that's included. The camera mount mechanism is not included.

Edit: Found the thread, read post #8 from 6LE https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-raci...era-mount.html

That's shitty. Well at least there's $100 I can keep for something else.

Yup, just the bar. That mount for the camera alone was near (may have been over) $100.

I know the price sounds high but it is not something we wanted to make cheaply and have it break and come flying at you in an accident.

It is one of those pieces like my grilles, I really don't give a $hit if it sells because, believe it or not, the profit is so minimal it is hardly worth the time.

Like the grilles, it is something you could do yourself or get done locally but for those who can't I make it.

Waterjet cut side pieces are THICK and take an expensive machine to bend. The bar is roll bar material and the welds are super strong. My cost for the raw piece is right around $50 with labor.

Add $25 for powdercoat (when I do it in a batch, otherwise it is $35) and you're at $75 before you subtract paypal fees and shipping.

All in all I make literally about $5 on this piece... So, by all means, get it made yourself

FYI, the one in the pic is an old design, I'll post a pic of a new one and you can see how much higher quality the actual piece is. That was just a friend's prototype and the only pic I had with a camera on it...

I would pay you + $200 for the whole thing (the bar and the actual cam mount) if you can sell/ship it to me being it's that income tax time and all.

If you're serious e-mail me and I'll put it together for you. Probably a better idea just to offer it that way anyways.
