Default Pewter Camaro- foggy headlight... Get Black Halos?

Ok, so I have a 00 pewter camaro and the driver side headlight is getting ugly and cloudy as hell. I was just wondering if the ebay black halos look worth a crap with pewter camaros or if I would be better to just replace the headlight with a brand new stock one? What do you guys think?

Thanks
BTW I did a search and am having trouble finding pewter camaros with halos

Default clear your stock lights and paint the insert piece

you can clear that fog off and bake your lights open and paint the inside piece the color of your car or black it looks way good i think! if you want to know how pm me!
heres a pic of my lights, not very good if you want a better one let me know!

^^^ Writeup in Post #3??? and (ot) I would hope your car had it done since it was owned by the 1st person to do this Im pretty sure....

O.P. Also what wheels do you have? If they are chrome or polished dont do the Whistler mod and just clean them up. If you have dark or black wheels then the Whistler mod helps tie the car to the wheels.

Bought my pewter Z with black halos. They look cool on pewter but they are JUNK!

Halos dont work, LED's went out, rubber is peeling around the headlights, fit terrible, need I go on?

If I had stockers, I'd go whistler like everyone else says.

(Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic, right after a paint job so the turning signals arent back in, dirty, etc.)

I have had the black ebay halos for over 3 years now and I love them. Both halos burnt out over time but I don't really mind. I may buy a new set when I get some spare $$ but all in all I feel they were worth the small money.

BTW no comment on ride height plz.

older pics with stock rims below

My wheels are chrome so I will just try to clean up the lights. Is the cloudiness on the headlights on the outside almost always? I'm pretty sure it is but it looks like hell and it's hard to be 100% sure its all on the outside of the lens and not any on the inside.

I tried the buffing technique, after 2 hours I gave up and they still looked like ****. Yes the cloudiness is on the outside.
