Default HID Comparison Thread

I couldn't decide if I wanted to go with 6K or 8K HID & found these links of comparison. Just figured I would make a thread in case other people are having a hard decision. I decided to go with 6K HID. Didn't really like the blue color in 8K & 6K are very bright. But I love them on my Camaro

6000K for sure. IMO its a classier look because there is less blue and you will get more light.

I had 6000k previously. 5000k now and like them better.

Now how much of that is due to the color temp difference and how much is due to the projector change I'm not sure. I know the projector change made a big difference but I think the color helped a little.

I'm glad I went with my 5000k. It is PURE white, when I see my lights in reflection it has the SLIGHTEST hue of blue, but still more white than anything. IMO the "classy" look is found in 5000k.
