Default Raptor Hood or WS9 Hood?

I am looking into hoods and it has come down to these two. Pictures of each are below.

WS9

Raptor

That's a tough one...I would lean towards the WS9. Looks a little more bad *** IMO. The raptor hood looks a little more refined though, so I guess it's up to what you are shooting for.

It's all personal taste. I know people who have the WS9 hood who act like it's the be-all end-all of hoods. I like the WS9 better than the Raptor hood, but personally, WS6>WS9>Raptor.

If you haven't seen both in person, I suggest you do. I felt the extractors on the WS9 weren't as subtle as I'd like, and have seen stock WS6 hoods in person as well. I liked the WS6 better.
Try to see them both in person on your color.

That is a really tough one lol. If it was possible, try and see them in person, but my opinion is WS9 > Raptor on a Trans Am, but Raptor > WS9 on a formula or firebird with the smaller front bumper.

I'm trying to decide between the two as well. I want a Raptor Hood so bad but you can get a Trufiber Ws9 hood for alot cheaper. Either would look better than the flat hood.

Another thing not mentioned yet is that with the raptor hood I would strongly recommend getting the matching airbox bc to routes the air differently than the stock airbox. I've had the raptor hood for years and always get compliments on it.

Valid point here. I have an SLP lid and its pretty much non functional because of how the hood is set up.

I say raptor. Cleaner IMO, but either will be a great hood.

I think the WS9 hood is more aggressive looking. Like has been said, it's all about presonal preference though. Either will be a huge plus asthetically for the car.

nice looking couple there. Just wondering how you got the fog lights white instead of amber? Just change to different bulbs?

They'd look better now that my TA is lowered haha.

But you mean my DRLs? Yeah, at the time, I had some hyper white LEDs in there. I have no idea why, but they pretty much fried my sockets. I got new sockets and just went with some super white halogen bulbs now (they look the same as the LEDs did). I believe I got the halogen bulbs from Autolumination.

Also, I have clear corner side markers and tried matching the same color bulbs have for my DRLS, but all the super white 194 bulbs for the side markers just look purplish instead of blueish.. so I just leave them without any bulbs lol.

i like the ws6/ws9 hoods, but, i think they look good with black bird stripes or ram-air stripes. if there are no plans for stripes, i personally think the raptor is the best choice. so clean looking, yet so mean as well.

honestly, if i had no intentions on doing stripes, i'd even take the sleek beek stock hood over the ws6/ws9. on a car with the right stance/rim setup, the stock hood locks perfect.

daytime running lights/turn signals. foglights are the little round lights at the bottom. and yes, gotta switch the bulbs

Depends on the rims IMO.. In most cases, ws9 wins.

My vote is ws9, closer to the best looking hood ever (ws6). Never cared for the firehawk/raptor hoods, too round IMO
