Will tapping into my front parking light side marker to power my halo headlight rings mess with the computers voltage readings at all? A buddy of mine at GM said it might and im better off using a (12 volt relay) tapped into my parking lights to actuate my halo rings Any input guys?

I have mine powered by the fog lights that way they're only on with the flip of the fog switch. Using the turns should be fine though, but you won't be able to control them if you haven't disabled your DRL's.

Edit: ^ beat me to it

Only downside to tapping into your turns is they will blink with the blinkers.

Ran mine with the fogs so that when you hit the lock/unlock they flash with the other ligths. Awesome.

Thanks guys, I just tapped into the parking lights. I know there was a write up on how to disable the auto lights from coming on by themselves Anybody have it to send to me or point me the right way on what its under?I hate when they come on by themselves when it starts to get alittle dark out

What kind of car do you drive? If it's a ttop camaro all you have to do is pop the passenger side a pillar off and pop the dash pad up. Take a scotchlock and secure it to the two wires. takes 2 minutes.
